The ‘Najade’ is a luxurious fast ferry designed for Rederij Doeksen of the Netherlands. The shallow water, narrow bridges and locks the vessel was required to negotiate during its routes resulted in a fast and highly maneuverable design. The passengers are accommodated in air-conditioned comfort on two deck levels. This vessel conforms to the International Maritime Organization’s International Code of Safety for High Speed Craft 1994.
